MY PEOPLE
I decided to do my project on the people I love most. My hands are surrounding these pictures for a very important reason. My hands are surrounding these people because they are the most important thing in my life. They are the people who have had my back during my worst times, and the people who have been there through my best times. Since going to college it is always hard being away from them, however my heart is with them every day. These are the people who have shaped me into who I am today and I am forever grateful for them.

WAKE UP
WAKE UP
My project will be a video on how technology has completely taken over our lives. Everything in our lives revolves around technology, and how we have become somewhat like robots in our everyday life. We miss the things around us because our heads are buried in our cell phones, which can be very dangerous for the human race, and can have detrimental consequences. It's time to WAKE UP.
I plan on making a three minute video that is quite simple really. Using note cards to draw people in, to illustrate to them how dangerous cell phones can be.
I will give my honest opinion on the matter in a way that is meant to educate and persuade people to look at the world through my view. And how important it is to live our lives through our own eyes, and not a phone screen.
The main themes that are going to be addressed in my work are the problems that come with getting sucked into technology such as, counter-productivity, not listening, and not viewing important things. Additionally how much is really missed when your head is sucked into a screen.
I will be making a video of myself using note cards in order to get my point across.
What I hope my work does for people is exactly what my title says. To WAKE UP it is time to stop avoiding this problem and starting to address it. And I believe that I am taking a step in the right direction in order to make this happen.

Grid Project
This project was based on my thoughts on the world. These days I see so much hate in the world, and much of it is completely unnecessary. People nowadays hate people for everything, especially if they have different views then you. In my opinion this is extremely disappointing because I have seen people do better, and they should do better. As humans in this world we live in, it is our job to help each other, support one another, and help each other thrive. However I see way too many people trying to bring people down because they are smarter, richer, or more attractive then them. However this thinking is extremely and utterly ignorant. Additionally when many people hear about each others success their first instinct is to bring them down. However our initial reaction should be to congratulate and support them in their success. Furthermore on the other hand, if you see a friend in need, you should want to help them. And not to get gratitude or a reward, but simply out of the kindness of your heart. Thats why I think the peace sign is so important because it is not only a symbol of kindness, but so much more. It shows the unconditional love we should have for one another in our own endeavors.

The little things.
Joseph Beuys
Beuys was a German born artist, from the 1950s through the early 1980s he became attached the Conceptual and Fluxus movements. His diverse body of work ranges from traditional media of drawing, painting, and sculpture. There were reoccurring motifs in works suggesting that art, common materials, and one's "everyday life" were ultimately inseparable. Why did he think that? What are some things in his every day life that he considered art From roughly the 1950s through the early 1980s, Beuys demonstrated how art might originate in personal experience yet also address universal artistic, political, and/or social ideas, these ideas came out in his 1965 solo performance, How to Explain Pictures to a Dead Hare, in which materials of personal significance suggest the possible healing of art for a humanity seeking self revitalization and a sense of renewed hope in the future.

I plan to create three minutes of performance that will emulate his ideas, while using a few different set of actors in various areas of Tampa. In this work I will question what people do in everyday life, and how art can relate to their every day activities.
My film will be filmed with my iPhone, and will include multiple actors who can do the Job right. It will include every day objects in life and how they can be brought into art, and how art can affect those every day objects as well. I hope to speak to my audience and try and get them to see that they shouldn't take everyday objects for granted.
My performance will follow the tone that Beuys left, it will respect and acknowledge every day objects and how every little thing can be turned into art. I want to make life and art into one, combine them to make something beautiful that will mean something to someone.
Some equipment that will be involved is my camera, a secure and scenic location on campus, and a few actors that can accurately portray what I want my audience to get out of my piece of work.

People should view and listen to my work because I have been there when I have take things for granted and have gotten burned because of it. I have lost things that I have cared about deeply and I don't want people to have to go through the same things. I would like people to learn from my past experiences.
Closing Statement: I hope to make a piece of work that appeals to people in need of some hope in their life, someone that needs help. I want my work to speak to all different types of people, even people who didn't think they were interested in art in the first place. Additionally I want my work to have a major impact on someone. Maybe they are going through a tough time in their life? Maybe they just lost someone they love?

As a general sports fan, part of the reason I came to Tampa University is to enjoy the great sports atmosphere that is in this great city. One team that is very popular in this city is the Tampa Bay Lightning, they are a great team with a great fan base. Furthermore they play their home games in Amalie Arena in downtown Tampa, when I visited this place I had high hopes that the atmosphere would be enjoyable. And it definitely lived up to its expectation. The crowd as well as the atmosphere was electric all night, it was very special to watch as well as be apart of. Every time they scored everyone would jump out of their seat with excitment, overall the experience was unforgettable and something I will never forget.

21st Century Technology
When I think of 21st century technology, the first thing that comes to my mind is Apple products, specifically the iPhone. When Apple first came out with the iPhone it took the technology by storm. It was one of the first "smart phones" ever made. Many of its features includes a touch screen, facial recognition, and lighting fast speed. With the iPhone you are able to send text messages, play games, take high quality pictures, and much more. A majority of the population now a days most likely owns an iPhone, personally my favorite feature of the iPhone is being able to easily accesses different apps in a convent manner. The iPhone ultimately works for you in order to be more efficient. However before the iPhone there were many telephone products that came before it. One being the regular telephone. The first telephone was used for making calls only, you were not able to take pictures, or listen to music from the telephone like you are with the iPhone. However there is one thing these two products have in common, which also happens to be the main purpose for both, and this is communication. The sole reason to have a phone is to communicate quickly and conveniently with others. Furthermore the first telephone was the main Segway into eventually producing more advanced phones. The iPhone in my opinion will be able to be a gateway into more different types of technology. In addition to the television and the radio. The traditional television was meant to show pictures, in the form of entertainment the developers of the iPhone took the same idea. You are able to watch videos and view pictures on your phone. Furthermore you are also able to listen to music on your phone as well, however now you are able to choose what songs you want to download and listen to, instead of hoping they play the song you like. People will be able to take the basic ideas of the iPhone and transform them into something totally new and complex, for example they could build upon the app called "FaceTime" which is an app that allows you to video chat someone else who is not in the same location as you. And they could create technology that almost feels like you are there with them, in the same room. It could also play a key role in creating technology that helps the military such as finding out where our enemy is by tracking down their location. Additionally it can also help with safety precautions in general as well, such as using fingerprint and facial recognition in order to access facilities, for example schools, and buildings in general. This can improve our safety immensely in addition to our well being. Technology is going to be a huge part of our future and it is our job to start to become familiar with the different aspects of technology. Technology is only going to expand, it is going to be in our homes, schools, and business offices. Many aspects of the iPhone will be brought into the working world as well, such as touch screens, cameras, and different performing applications.
